Operations Used in ON-SETS^®

OPERATION	MEANING	EXAMPLE (for Universe below)
(Union)	The cards that are in either the first set OR the second set.	B R = 6 (cards 1-6)
(Intersection)	The cards that are in both the first set AND the second set.	B R = 3 (cards 1-3)
(Subtraction)	The cards that are in the first set BUT NOT in the second.	B R = 1 (card 4)
(Complement)	The cards that NOT in the set to which the complement is appended.	B = 6 (cards 5-10)
